Alga printing material is made with Algae which is rather unique. The printing is very similar to wood except this stuff stinks when printing. It does not stink after its printed. If you want something that looks and feels like wood filament but with unique colors such as green, blue, etc, Alga might be for you. Alga used to be made by Algix 3D but it looks like its now made by 3D Print Life. The good news is the price for 1KG rolls has come down drastically while 375gram rolls are still expensive.

This green Alga filament has a nice subdued light grey/green color which works well for statues.
