Ninjatek Cheetah TPU is a flexible filament which is a bit harder than NinjaFlex. This makes it easier and faster to print. The Sapphire blue is a little translucent and a wonderful color. However this post is more about the filament type than the color. I struggled getting a decent print from this filament. I intend to tune this print soon enough. The settings below are what I believe will work. Please use glue stick on PEI print beds to avoid damage. Cheetah is a bit pricey and comes in 500g on a plastic spool.

Recommended Print Settings

Temperatures

  • Hot End – 230 Celsius
  • Bed – 50 Celsius

Speeds

  • Print Speed – 50mm/s
  • First Layer Speed – 30mm/s
  • Perimeter Speed – 30mm/s
  • Infill Speed – 60mm/s
  • Cooling Fan Speed – 30-50%

Structure

  • Perimeters – 2 or 0.8mm – 1mm
  • Top and Bottom Layers – 4 to 5 or 1mm
  • Infill – 15%

Retraction

  • Distance – 0.8mm*
  • Speed – 35mm*
  • Z-Lift – 0.6mm

Bridging

  • Bridge Flow – 85%
  • Bridge Speed – 30mm/s
  • Bridge Cooling – 80%

Physical

  • Bed Adhesion – Glue Stick (Mandatory on PEI)
  • Nozzle Type – Brass (Standard)
  • Enclosure – None

* Values will differ for printers with Bowden extruders
